Two decades of passion, dedication and innovation have shaped MYS into a trusted global yacht agency, providing seamless support to superyachts worldwide. Allow us to tell you a little bit more about our journey…
A Dream that set sail in 2005
In 2005, Riccardo Ciani had a dream: to turn his deep passion for the sea and his experience onboard into a yacht agency dedicated to assisting boats navigating the Ligurian waters. That dream became reality on March 27th, 2005, when Med Yacht Services opened its doors in Portosole Marina, Sanremo.
What started as a small operation in Liguria quickly evolved into something much bigger. We expanded beyond borders—from the Ligurian coast to the Mediterranean and, eventually, across the ocean.
From Liguria to the World
In 2018, we took a bold step forward, opening our first office in the United States, located in Fort Lauderdale. This marked the beginning of our expansion into the Caribbean, strengthening our global presence and allowing us to assist superyachts in even more destinations.
Today, 20 years later, we are proud to have established offices in some of the world’s most prestigious yachting hubs: Sanremo, Imperia, Portofino, Ventimiglia, Capri, The Amalfi Coast, Monaco, Palma de Mallorca, Fort Lauderdale – and our latest addition, Saint Barth!
Our Rebranding
Our international growth led to a significant transformation. In 2022, we rebranded to reflect our global reach. The original name, Med Yacht Services, evolved into MYS and we refreshed our visual identity with a brand new logo that encloses our mission behind a simple element. The stylized circular element of the sea represents the globality of our operations area and the globality of the services we offer, while the stylized element of the yacht going outside the circle has a double meaning: going beyond geographical boundaries, going beyond our customers’ expectations.
Sailing Above Expectations
Today MYS is a well-established international yacht agency, providing 24/7 support to superyachts cruising across the Mediterranean and the Caribbean always staying true to our mission: “Sailing above Expectations“.
As we celebrate our 20th anniversary, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our clients, partners, and team members who have been part of this incredible voyage. Your trust and support inspire us to set even higher standards for the future of yacht services. This journey wouldn’t have been possible without you. Thank you for being part of our story!
